About

Thomas Anderson and Martin Barnes practices exclusively in the area of personal injury law. Our number one focus is helping people with severe injuries get the legal representation they desire. Throughout their careers, they have helped thousands of injured people get the just compensation they deserve.

We handles all types of personal injury cases, including automobile accidents, trucking accidents, medical malpractice, products liability, premises liability, insurance bad faith and work related accidents.

We are Board Certified in Personal Injury Law; a certification that ensures the following:

• We have been licensed to practice law for at least five years.
• We have devoted a required percentage of practice to personal injury trial law for at least three years.
• We have handled a wide variety of personal injury trial law matters to demonstrate experience and involvement.
• We have attended personal injury trial law continuing education seminars regularly to keep legal training up to date.
• We have been evaluated by fellow lawyers and judges.
• We have passed a day-long written examination.

The attorney must also have extensive knowledge of the law of evidence, procedure, and other substantive law involved in the trial of personal injury cases.

We handles cases all over the Country, and have been admitted to practice law in the State of Texas as well as the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of Texas.

If you are in need of an experienced and effective personal injury lawyer please contact us immediately. We will listen to you and take all steps necessary to ensure your rights are protected.

We have received our Juris Doctorate degree from South Texas College of Law in 1999 and graduated from law school as members of the Order of Barristers, a national honor society for courtroom advocates. Prior to attending law school, we obtained our B.A. in Economics from The University of Texas at Austin in 1995 (Thomas) and 2000 (Martin). We are active members of the American, Texas and Houston Bar Associations, the Texas Trial Lawyers Association and the Christian Trial Lawyers Association.

We will explain to you what you can expect at every step of your personal injury case, and will take action on your behalf — researching the law, interviewing witnesses, collecting records, conferring with expert consultants, planning legal strategy, and negotiating with insurers and opposing counsel — all with an eye toward strengthening your position and ensuring your fair recovery.
